I tasted you
and like a child's first taste of candy
it was infectious
I snuggled close to your neck
as if by inhaling your scent
I could make you a part of me
hoping if I could trap you in my lungs
you would not find the strength
to push me away any longer
I underestimated your desire for freedom.

Fantastic
I can find no flaw here. It flows smoothly is written with style and you can easily wrap yourself into the emotives of the piece. Fantastic job.
