a slow and plodding walk
to winter’s high brow
through thigh high snow
to find warmer shelter
with which to view
this white-faced world
finding none
she sunk beneath brittle branch
to wish and wait
for time
when she would leave no tracks
that would disappear
as easily
as she could

this piece is wonderful... It was a brilliant write on the prompt, and makes so much sense....i loved the last stanza, it stood solid in the poem and brought it home excellently!
