His body was brittle
but only his soul could be crushed
they seemed to scent this-
the wolves as they fled the forest
with such rush
time was not on their hands-
as they charged to the tower
that held him, torturing him
they made their demand.
As the taste of the gaurds lingered on their lips,
not once did they stop
leaving everyone in their way with such rips.
the tower door broke easily down
they met the scene with a heavy frown
noone was left or so it first seemed
until they found him strapped to the bench
beside him laid no knife or wrench
they had tortured him to death from inside the mind
it was as if time stood still,
but suddenly the hands started to wind
they knew they were to late
what happened now they left up to fate.
What did you think

...wow! Mental torture alone is horribly painful, detrimental, and intense like no ones business and you have captured that really well! I think there is something to be read in-between the line in this...it could just be me though. Fantastic write

Toddy
