To feel alive

Dad, I know what you're hiding
You're nine year old secret
Is mom not enough?
What do I have that she hasn't?

I hold innocence
You use my love for you as a vulnerability
You can't have just mom
You need more, to feel alive
I am NOT your freedom
Daddy, I can't give you what you need

  • Wow just
    brought me to
    tears almost.
Sounds like being sexually abused by your dad...
I liked this one alot thanks for entering.

  • Wow... this is very touching and very sad. It sounds so much like a desperate child trying to understand what is happening and begging to be left alone. Very powerful.
Thank you for entering, will you please s p a c e out your AP name so that I can read it
