Last night I wept, silently
As the rain splashed on the window pane.
Though it did not trouble the quiet room
Upon my cheeks, the tears left stains.
How calmly the moon rose, silently
As the clouds drift past my window pane.
Though they did not trouble the quiet room
Their shadows upon my heart remain.
So smoothly the blood seeped, silently
As the sun stared through the window pane.
Though it did not trouble the quiet room
Its rays reflect a crimson stain.
My life drifts away, silently
As the world sped past the window pane.
Though it did not trouble the quiet room
I was not missed, my life in vain.
