Distant mountains covered with snow
fresh with its purest form of white
I am chilled by a rush of wind
but to take this journey I'll go.
These are the seeds I want to sow
I dream of touching this blessed sight.
To come to it as if a friend.
One worthy of getting to know.
This journey gives a chance to grow
to wizen my mind and my sight.
To help balance my inward blend
I'll follow the way of the crow.
I’ll go without the fire's warm glow
even if it takes me all night.
I'll go even as moon ascends.
It will give me an even flow.

Quatrains are amazing & this is no exception. Not all are blessed with the ability to write in such a fashion.

This stanza stood out most to me. It clicked very easily to something inside of me. Good imagery here as well. Thanks for sharing this one.

This is beautifully crafted, and one can almost see the mountains, and feel your longing to reach them. Thank you for entering.
