Meet me in Paris

I've been a waiting for your phone call
it's a quarter after nine
baby you ain't called me
i'm slowly going out of my mind.

Seems like it's been forever
since i last heard from you
i know i said let's take it slow
i didn't know what else to do.

baby meet me in paris
i can't hardly  wait to see
you in my arms again
there's no where else i want to be

you don't have to pack your bags
i have everything you need
baby if you love me please
meet me in paris tennessee.

we'll meet at that old cafe
where you always like to dine
we'll talk about old the days
when we were together all the time.

baby meet me in paris
i can't hardly wait to see
your sweet face again
it plays over in my memory.

you don't how bad i've missed you
i sure hoped you've missed me
baby if your lonely
meet me in paris tennessee.

    Sounds like a song...

It has some forced rhyme (dine, time, see, memory)
and a few line mess up the meter but other than that it's quite nice.

Sweet poem - well rhymed and flowing, a longing for times gone by.
