Falling in love can be filled with unexpected surprises
It scalps the heart to different shapes and sizes
A story is based on your beliefs, desires and trust
A start to enlighten your soul after you been lost
But at the end, you realize eternity is an illusion
And understand moving on might be a delayed option
With love, a person gets blinded with emotions
It toxics the mind, sinks it in deepest devotions
It is like a trap in which there is no way out
It is like you are a lab rat, screaming so loud
An experiment where a human never learns
A mistake that dominates over guilt and sins
Then, you wake up suddenly on a harsh reality
And you wish it wasn't just a sweet fantasy
That beat of adoring in your chest won't last
Because love happens and goes eventually fast
Betrayal might be forgiven marking a huge scar
Dumping might be forgotten when it gets so far
To me, love is an insane phenomenon
After all I been through, I gain none
But horrible pain and ache…
For that four letters sake…
