this is love

 

 

There is nothing that I would rather do,

than hold you between my fingers and let you melt there.

This is why I can't get enough of you,

it's simply because you are my drug.

 

Your lips, they drive me to the best kind of insanity.

All I need, all I want, is you. The touch of your hand

across my body.

[your touch makes me weak]

 

Your beautiful figure,

so wonderfully made,

sends chills up my spine everytime you send

messages to my brain.

I love it. It makes me feel like I'm so invincible,

like nothing in time can stop this high.

 

You are more than enough

for this man,

you are everything that I am and even more,

which is quite amazing.

I want nothing more than to declare our love with

our lips locked and our hands held.

 

I'm living on the love you give

and can't wait to see,

 

what's next.

    Very powerfully written ; you can feel the raw love just emanating from it from the very beginning to the end - while this wouldn't be my usual style of poetry to read [just a personal thing, nothing wrong with it!] I did read it to the end - and have come to the conclusion that the girl who this is written for, is quite lucky to have such poetry being written for her!

    A beautiful and sweet poem. When you get to you are my drug. What kind of drug, Any kind of strong opiate would do or PCP.

    I guess even if you really believe in your love 100% there is always going to be that uncertainty of where things will be in the future. I feel though from the words you chose it is still a positive look.
