Night shield glitters and moon,
faceful and fretful,
stares down with oblique eye
I reach up, handsful of nothing
and am touched by fingertip
of light that spills
a thousand old wishes
I did not know
had come true.
Each one, a fingerprint,
of being noticed,
a slight pressure pushing forward,
a redirection and gentle tap:
“Here I am":
Hover in cover of darkness
but light will find you
and leave you touched.

There is a saying, "There can be no shadows without the presence of light." Everything you touch is luminous, my Friend. Good luck in the contest, Sweetie. You have left your fingerprints upon the face of the world.
