Paddle Your Own Canoe

In the
river of life,
there are many canoes.
We don’t often get the one
we would choose. At times we’re too
focused on what we have not,
forgetting to paddle
the one that
we’ve got.

    Awsome,

Thank you so much for putting this in the contest. I love how you took the canoe picture, and got inspired from your own. Great job, this is going to be tough to judge!

Beautiful photo. You get extra points for creativity. But the poem by itself is superb as well. Thank you for entering and best of luck. Happy New Year as well!

    Wonderful indeed!

You are indeed a man of words. Your ideas on life's situations are very thought provoking. If we all only took the time to thank God for what we have rather than worry about the small things, we wouldn't be left without a paddle (LOL). Just a little pun to go with your canoe theme. Hope you don't mind. This is another wonderful poem from your mighty pen my friend. Your friend in Poetry, Mysty Rain
