lavender sheets and silver linings
traced her ivory skin
dazzling streetlights
summoned her courage
as she took a step
towards no return
chasing the memories
of yesteryear
she skipped along
till she reached
flowers in full bloom
and twirled around
in acknowledgement

Beautifully Painted!
Wish we had the picture to go with it. I had one in my mind. Wonder which was better?

Some powerful imagery in this piece, really stirs the senses, what lets it down though is the lack of punctuation, the reader has no idea of line structure, ryhthm or pace.
If you were to correct that, this piece would be brought to a much higher level
