I Don’t Love You
I loved you more than you’ll ever know,
You even said that you loved me too,
I used to cry,
While praying to God to not let you go,
To tell me how to make you stay
But you left,
And I don’t want anything to do with you,
You said that you didn’t love me anymore,
And you cast me aside like what we had meant nothing to you,
Well I don’t love you anymore.
So get out,
Dry your eyes,
Take all the memories that you’ve left me with
Because I would prefer to forget that I even knew you
And give me back all the love that I selflessly gave you,
Because you don’t deserve any of it
You destroyed me,
Until I didn’t even know who I was anymore
“So fix your eyes and get out!”
Because I don’t love you..
Like I did,
Yesterday

Good job Jenn! It's sooo sad, yet empowering at the same time. If only everyone could get over the one they loved so easily!

Oh thank you Fiona!! It was actually quite liberating to write, in a sense. Because I thought that I loved him, but didn't like him, but now I don't love him at all! Huzzah!

Good for you! People shouldn't be able to have that kind of hold on you, and make you feel that way!
