So wrong
So lost
It ain't fair
Living for just today
Cause tomorrow is so far away.
There might be no good
But still you have hope
Still you dream
Those
Nightmares everynight,
That scare you awake,
Of that night
Of that time
When you thought you was home alone.
He came in your room
He was drunk off his a@#
But you was so little
You couldn't have known.
A slap across the face
When you didn't listen
And you couldn't believe what
Was happening
You was so scared
You couldn't say anything,
You didn't speak,
Didn't scream;
Except for one soft, clear, "No."
But that was enough.
Though the big man didn't care
He ignored your hurt.
He wasn't focused on you
He was in control.
But still you tried.
You fought with your
Little strength.
You cried silent tears,
Silent sobs,
And punched silent fists.
A few minutes later
It's all over.
It's done.
You're still lying there
You can't move.
You keep thinking in your head
You're hurt.
You're helpless.
No one believes you.
And you still don't know what to think.
Sound is back
The T.V. is on
The music blasting in your ears.
But the hideous creature is gone.
You're not
The sounds aren't
The thoughts aren't
The feelings aren't
And the memory never will disappear.
All those screams
And crys
And pleads
Are just gone.
Teras fall down your face,
You remember everything.
10 years late,
In therapy---
Telling your therapist,
For the first time,
That you don't want to be strong anymore.
All you want is for that heart-breaker,
Dream-taker, hideous, ugly, crazy,
Son of a b@#$%
To die for what he did to you.
Don't cry no more tears.
It wasn't your fault.
The big man was drunk,
But that's NO excuse.
You were little,
You couldn't have known.
But, yeah, that blood-sucking
A#@hole did.
So speak brave child.
He is NOT in control.
