Why Didn't You Say Good-bye.

Looking at the past gets hard by the day.
Remembering the people that are know away.
Seeing a picture of us as we sat in the cafe.
The picture brings back great memories as we sat near the bay.
know the only thing I have to is pray to see you for one more day.

You promised me if I didn't cry.
That you would never say bye.
so you keep that promise, you never said bye before you die.
My eyes try not cry but there is something inside that wanted you to say good-bye.
know the only thing I have to do is pray to see you and say good-bye so I can hear your reply.

As you rest under the ground.
With people crying around.
The only thing I can do is frown.
I want the promise to rebound.
know I the only thing i have to do is pray to see you for one more day.

You know what? I like your sincerity. And you ought to always write what moves you. I do have a couple suggestions, though. I want you to do a little research on Meter. You obviously understand what rhyme is, and I think a little comprehension of Scansion will take you a long way. So keep on writing and keep broadening your horizons!
