Knowing where you are going is a waste of time, and often no fun at all.

Thought provoking.
No syllable limit for each line like a Haiku or Senryu but a Pixiku is still 3 lines. I LOVE the picture and your verse is thought provoking and not mundane.

Hey. A few months ago, you entered a one-liners contest. This is an offical invitation to join my own one-liners contest under the contest title JoinThisContestOrI'llPutAMobHitOnYourWholeFamily. Hope to see you enter!-Curtis Meyer
PS Please feel free to read any/all poetry posted on this site by k-dense (myself). -
Good, Have been wondering about you!!

I made it home safe.

Although I know this to be true, I enjoy having plans much more than spur of the moment, EXCEPT in January when my brothers girlfriends family goes to the snow, I plan on being dragged out of bed, for that, since they get up in the middle of the night and decide to go

The titles of your most recent poems frightened me, so I felt the need to go back to something in your "softer" collection lol! I still hope you'll share something about faeries, because I'm sure the contest would be a whole lot more interesting with something from you. I love this senryu, it made me laugh. It's too true. I'm always lost, but I think it's way more fun that way.

This is very sad. I wish I could just give ya a god damn big hug.
Hugs and kisses horus, Lady Raven -
see...that makes me think: what's the point in caring, when it only brings you heartache...
funnily enough, i agree.
Nyx... -
Ah, this makes me feel better. People are constantly trying to get me to plan things. Yuck.

I dunno, bobo has direction and is pretty sure she knows where she wants to go - and is even having a bit of fun while driving there. Maybe it's not knowing where you'll have lunch.
-
No planning? I'll have to try that sometime too.
No, I've gone out on a whim before. No time for fun really, school, work.. sleep.. hehe maybe when the weekend comes around?
(p.s. on thise page I see you changed know to no, but on your authors page, it is still know) Just thought you should know!

Go - Just GO
Yah. Is true. I, in fact, admit to being uptight knowing where I'm going and much prefer to just wander a bit and trust to the fickle finger of fate.
Fly, but take no prisoners. Shoot the brightly colored 'chutes as they blossom against the blue azure of the sky. You are the Baron d'Excellence.
See? I began this comment not even knowing where I was going and I've ended up here. -
yeah i agree also that's very true it can be a waste of time, that's why i alwasy turn off the lights so a bumb around a little, not to be takin in a nasty manner, o what ever...great thing to say i liked it and the picture, you inspirational as always.
-
I agree..if I knew where I was going, I'd worry about what I'd find there..I'd rather worry about where I am RIGHT now ..and make it a good place to be.
-
Thanks love, and too true.
-
Lol... you're right... the most fun I've had going anyplace is when I didn't make a plan just went.
This applies to other aspects of our lives, too... true, a plan should be made as to 'where we're going' whether in the professional outlook, a job, redecorating the house.... we pretty much need a plan... but look at all the interesting and surprising things that happend when we didn't follow a plan.
Interesting quote, lovely picture
Good luck in the contest.
