Bright Venus phases through space,
I burn, with long denied desire.
Clouds of doubt transform,
become talismans of sheltering veils.
Shield us from mundane words and worlds
that say we should not, could not be
achieving such perfection.
Can you believe? Then leap your faith,
harmonize with me a velvet night
Under kind crescent moon, shining lovers
illuminate voids left by time ticking.
From moonlight, we'll beg silver beams
build a home of childish laughter,
and fill it with Valentine affection.
Milk-crystal walls in place, I'll begin,
breathe in sighs exhale tenderness.
Scribe illumination on your skin
with lips, teeth and fingertips
Platformed in tangled sheets,
we give our all for love, as
we feather our lover's nest...

This stanza is simply amazing. It will take an expanded mind to absorb the quality and rush of excitment that permeates these lines. Excellent. Words I wish I had said but am glad I have read. Beautiful poetry.
