Stillpoint, 3

I contemplate the volume of all objects
plus surface area of their shells to be less than infinity

these float within another volume
which is without shell and so cannot be comprehended

nor summed yet breached easily
by first thoughts of new born children,
yet for them
and by lover’s inside each other’s body, it is implicit

bewildered by this utter simplicity
I know I have never been a phantom pain of God

but only of myself

You manage to combine the tenets of science with the unlimited realms of spirituality in such a convincing manner, Danny. Your words are steps leading towards immeasurable growth for us all. I'm loving these older poems of yours, you know.
