Ring out the news this day
Jesus Christ God's only son
Was born in a Manger of Hay
Shepherds in the fields that night
Saw Angels high above
Sing out the news of Jesus' birth
God sent Him to us with love
So spread the joy this Christmas day
Go tell it in all the lands
Jesus Christ was born this day
Given to us by God's Own Hands
So praise the name of Jesus

Let the whole world hear you sing
Of the Baby that sleeps on the hay
