Fire

You burn so bright in the dark.
I love to sit infront of you and let your heat burn my face.
The way you steel all the moiser from my lips.
Your orange and yellow flames move when I breath through my teeth.

Fire,
I envy you for being able to burn.
The fact that something so beautiful kills.
You allow yourself to burn on and on for days.
I will never understand you, Fire.

Author notes

This is such a different approch for me. I've never written about a stationary object before. Its kinda fun..

What do you think of it?

Oooh. I really liked this approach. Personifying fire like a person, or making a person fire, absolutely brilliant!
    This was good.
    Great job Kell.
