As the thunder rolls
The pain of what was and what could of been
Was so much more than she could take
Her hair cascading down her back
Covering her face
She slides down... down....
Leaving her pain behind her
The flowers in her hair in perfect blossom
The beauty, matches hers
Or what it used to be
The contrast to the black of her clothes and hair
Stunning
A butterfly
A symble of so much
Simple beauty of nature
So much of what she wishes to be
Be able to fly away, such freedom
The storm around her rumbles on
Echoing the fight inside her
The clouds darken
Knowing what is to happen
She wants it to go away so badly
She dares not to ask for more than what was given to her
Misshapen and mishappen her wishes tore her apart
Now all she wants is to be taken away
As the thunder rolls
The pain of what was and what could have been
Was so much more than she could take
