Winter Blessings from Washington State!

OH, Alright,

It was me!

I humbly confessed.

 Sweet peppermint regret

conveys sly smile on face.

It’s ever so true

I sang that dang

Winter Wonderland song.

(dressed in modest fig leaves,

all night long.)

Clicked my heels three times

at the rise of dawn,

and low and behold,

my sticky bun wishes

fell mountains of snow.

 Generously, abundantly,

Arctic Blast,

presently abounding

three weeks aghast!

(Oopsy)

Oh, dear, Oh me,

what have I done,

perhaps the egg nog

was a little too strong!

Promise, I've learned my lesson well,

I'll not sing the mystical Winter Wonderland song

(until next year)

Merry Christmas from Snowy Washington State,

May all your buns be warm and you’re blessed spirits strong!

Large hosts of snow angels are appearing all over town

and the snowmen are running amuck!

Author notes

WE who dwell on the Western Side of Washington State,
are ASTOUNDED by all our recent snow fall!

Everytime we think it's going to finally rain away,
we wake up in the morning to another couple inches of snow!

oopsy....
no more egg nog for me!
giggle.

Winter Blessings everyone!

My Aunt's favorite winter song was Winter Wonderland, sing it all you want, it's a beautiful song. I guess you mean you massacre it, you're not alone, sometimes I try to do my grandfather's favorite song just to relive my childhood, of course I'm awful. I love the sense of humor in this piece.

    Excellent!

Oh My Gosh I am dieing from laughter over here as I use to live in parkland and was told we had 17 inche sof snow ther ebut now I reside in packwood/ERandel area the enterance to White Pass and Wow! we got nailed for a few feet of snow ourselves out here. it was still snowing when I last checked a while ago but its slowly stopped now. since I live so close to White pass well practically in White Pass we ar eunder that latest winter advisory of 1 to 3fee tof snow and Whew! I tell ya snow shoveling has never bene such hard work for me before sincewe rarily get snow in our state. anyw ays this was truly a wonderfully penned poem and I like quite a few others asked for a White Christmas and well crapola we all got it and then some. I guess if anything being on the West Side of the Cascade slike yourself we are fortunate we do not live in Spokane as last year they were nailed with a ton of snow and now this year its a nightmare all over again. any ways wonderfully delightful read and I am truly grateful I clicked on this poem and I blame the killer title that grabbed my attention. keep on penning away ands thanks for sharing this with us all.

Ahh... wonderful Washington state with all its glorious weather. Now living in Phoenix and hailing from Seattle, I have my family still living in that area. I talked to them today and got a glimpse of what it's like for them right now... several inches of snow and cold... brrrr

This is a fun poem I enjoyed it very much
Wondering why you put this in adult catagory, though ??

    Merry Christmas
    Dee
