It's hard to say a single word
When's there still so much to say
I doubt I'll say it all
Even in this lifetime
My sweet love
We've met over the Summer
Exchanged playful glances
Teased one another
And then you called me yours
It was rather sudden
Surprised me it did
But we only smiled
And sealed it all
With a kiss
I was yours over the fall
And many times we've exchanged calls
Kisses and hugs were of many
But so apart we were
It felt lonely at times
I'm sure it did for you as well
But every letter that arrived
My lips curled into a wide grin
As if you were there
And now in this Winter wonderland
The snow has fallen heavy
It's cold and lonely there
To you I I would think
But what present shall you have
That I should give to you?
It must be special
The one that should make you smile
Because you're mine, you know?
And in one more season
It'll be a full cycle of our love
But it just won't end there
Because it just won't be complete
If I'm not there with you
If anything that I can say
No promises that I can keep
But hopeful wishes it may
To see you soon shall I say
In the Summer
That may our hands meet
Our lips kiss
Arms caress
And to see your eyes shine
My sweet love

Aye, reading over it again, there are several parts where the flow of the poem just breaks. Even when I read it aloud, it felt choppy in some areas. Lol, and thanks a lot for commenting back on my poem This was in a way, a Christmas present to someone xP
