The first of December.
That means it is Christmas time.
You hear how the Angels first proclaimed this day.
Telling of the birth so dear.
Way very far off in Bethlehem town.
A time and Tradition of each clan being counted.
During this time our Miracle, Baby Jesus came
Now we all celebrate in many ways.
Some celebrate by the Candles they light.
Others have lovely Christmas trees.
Some have fancy Wreathes left at the cemeteries.
Beauty is where the heart lies and recalls.
Many want to just keep the Spirit alive.
What ever it takes, for love and smiles.
The making of treats gives many a boost.
From Christmas cookies to flavored fruit cakes.
Someone you love most as you spread goodwill
Here with cheer is an Eggnog for you.
So when the Snow flakes fall
Or you hear the Sleigh Bells call
Think happy thoughts
Merry Christmas
Spread Jesus' Cheer
