Rain falling softly in the rain
restrains a subtle voice restrained
caress softly hushing caress
impress upon me, to impress.
So rents my fabric mind, just so
flows a murky water, in flows.
Bequest, a stranger dark bequest
impress upon me, to impress.
Yet, hues are not blended just yet
forget in spells and then forget.
Bless the souls, and inside you bless
impress upon me, to impress.
Rain falling softly in the rain
impress upon me, to impress.

This is so beautiful and there are very few Shadow Sonnets written in the Kyrielle Sonnet form. I'm saving this in my Shadow Sonnet list so others will be able to find it on Google. Well Done!
Love,

Ouch!
...Oooh ~ the previous comment was a bit harsh and to the point, n'est~ce pas?
(To cheer you up!)
Actually, I liked it. I read it aloud and was able to savour and relish the repititions and almost taste the sounds they made as they rolled off my tongue.
Isn't that what good form poetry is all about? Playing with our amazing words? You have done just that, and I applaud you for having the guts to do it, dear Poet.
BRAVO!

I don't like shadow sonnets, and the added repetition of a kyrielle sonnet is over the top. The ideas and feelings lack coherence in this maze. Sorry.

I love the way you rhyme in this poem. you are very talented and the way this poem makes me think is amazing. Nice work.

I read the first line and started laughing. Thank you for that; I needed it.

Different indeed. Will take some reading
More feeling than meaning and, at times,
confusing. Definitely worth the effort.
In a strange way, delightful.
