Gladly I choose....

If I had a day to do
something special for this world
something to help this generation
something to save every boy and girl

Let's see,i'm sure someone said cry for the kids that can't
or buy for those who can't afford them, shirts and pants
maybe be a parent or a friend to a stranger walking by
but for me i'd only choose to die

January i'd die for that still born child
that only lived one day
February i'd die for that teenaged daughter
who had to watch her mother pass away

March i'd die for that homosexual
that lives everyday with aids
April i'd die for that widowed husband
who can't seem to turn the page

May i'd die for the street kids
who gets forced in to a gang
June i'd die for those chymo patients
who daily lives in pain

July i'd die for the twenty years spent
in jail wrongfully accused
August i'd die for the twenty years
that your body was abused

Septerber i'd die for New York's 5000
that suffered a horrible deal
October i'd die for this war in Iraq
who's soldiers don't know how to feel

November i'd die for the single mothers
who have to raise multiple kids alone
December i'd die for the birth of my savior
as he died so that we can live on
