remembering

I'm still remembering the first time I saw you
standing there, looking away as if you couldnt see me
and I walked away without saying a word

That night I dreamed of you even though
I didnt even know your name
I kicked myself for not even saying "Hello"
I prayed that I would get another chance

Now I'm with you, and we're standing here today
in the same place where our eyes first met
and I know that true love seems like a fairytale
but sometimes its not too far away

I'm still remembering the first time I saw you,
standing there, staring straight back at me
