From Falling

I'm falling for the flavor
Of the whim of imperfection;
Ideals and morals smashed,
For innocence has crashed.

Author notes

I think the whole point of the poem which this is from, "Falling", is that I have been on my best behaivor for my entire life, and my inner "id" was crying to get out.  Just once I wanted to try something a little dangerous, craving a little imperfection.

    I reread this, and understand it better the second time - after reading your author comments. I think there is a little of this in each one of us, where we crave a little imperfection. Nice job.

    Best wishes,
