brown language
sensually sipped
by blushed lips
she devoured him
word by word
swallowed chocolate seeds
and birthed poems about him
on strawberry stationary

These words vibrate with earthen desire to taste the bounty...for Nature's swells in ripened fable,
with spirit serving topic table

Wonderous reply to the pic...

is this smut?
it's seems pretty erotic ;D -

Smut? Smut is xxx porno-style crap that one might find in a dimly-lit store on a deteriorating street, next to an alley in some dilapidated city somewhere, I would imagine - neither the author or I would know, or care. Really, just what sort of a remark IS that, anyway? From someone that belongs to Ian's group (pegleg pirates), no less? And directed to my dearest friend, who doesn't know the meaning of the word, who is one of this world's most renowned writers, teachers, social workers, tribal elders, let alone one of this particular website's best & most prolific creators? If that's the ONLY thing you could think of to say, perhaps it would be best to remain silent & move on, instead. It is hardly a so-called "critique" ~ it is merely an offensive statement. I know I was offended FOR my friend upon reading it. How very, very rude...not to mention, extremely inaccurate, presumptive & judgmental, besides. I would suggest you either move along to where the "smut" DOES reside on AP (unfortunately, there is far too much of it, posted under the mistaken guise of so-called "erotica") or ~ better yet ~ read some of her other work, to discover what REAL poetry is & can be, what soul~growth it provides ~ both for the writer & for anyone else who is honoured enough to encounter such purity.
Ian knows. So do I. Sheesh.

Well, I certainly hope it is not........ I would rather die than write smut. Geesh! Sorry if that is where your mind went.
