Instinct

stars cannot compare to the crystals I shake,
from my beautiful coat of decadent white,
the tundra before me a landscape I break,
with each foot paw I take into the moonlight,

it crunches and slips from my clawed paw tips,
melts against my coarse gaurd hairs and dies,
happy to discourse into the sky’s open lips,
my spirit now fully drenched my maw cries,

beckoning to nothing and everything I praise,
the land for the sweet gifts she brings or claims,
my belly is full and my eyes hold a golden gaze,
there is a lover in the den with pups we attained,

I stand strong with the vitality of a queen,
I will not falter in times of trouble or discourse,
but move on with my pack who needs my genes,
to carry on in this stream of life we enforce,

onward into the light of daybreak I will now run,
towards the future I write in my large paw prints,
be they blood smatted or muddy tinted I lunge,
into the path headstrong and though I squint,

I will always see and understand my purpose,
predator, protector, lover, friend, and Queen,
I dictate my intent and I am sure before I trust,
so that I may run headlong into this fools dream,

that sculpts itself into a beautiful reality.

A work of inspiring strength, a testimony to those of us who feel washed out, washed up, and that we dont matter.
Your talent truly shines here love.
I can hear you howling, and I sense you're nowhere near the end of giving up.
AMAZING write, I absolutely love it.

Nicely done. I like the animalistic flavor to this poem. The rhyming was very well done. Grat job.
