drenched in a slick wet blanket of black,
I feel the caress of my sister stars,
pulling me across them and touching,
with pale angels fingers at my flesh,
I am everything and nothing together,
towards the sea I walk to find myself,
on footpaws of silvery grace,
into an abyss I crawl to completeness,
through a cavern filled with light I stumble,
I curl into my fur and here I lay exhausted,
a peaceful escape from everyone else,
the earth around me swells and beats,
this far I have traveled through galaxies,
through stars, moons, planets and landscapes,
over hills and forests, and here in myself I lay,
finally at home and intensely aware,
that the only person I need was already here,
waiting for me in this place he was curled up,
a ball of blue star sprinkled fur and large ears,
he stays inside me and he puts an end,
to my bitter wandering, tired soul.
