Dagan said, in complete confidence:
"My friend, you gotta understand one thing:
People that don't deserve to die will die some day,
and people that do deserve to die,
will also die some day.
For example, let's take your model American citizen:
He's honest,
has a wife and two children,
and makes just enough to support his family.
Then one day, he realizes he's late for work,
and decides to make a run for it,
but just as he's about to cross the street--
bam--
car hits him and he dies!
Now, he didn't do anything to deserve that death.
He didn't kill the Don's son,
he didn't deal drugs on enemy turf--
it just happened.
Some people--
some people are just unlucky to be in the wrong place
at the wrong time--"
And as he turned around
the elevator doors opened
And he got shot.

Interesting. I like the irony in the ending. This holds very true to life. You never know when you are going to die....SO true and such a brilliant write. Keep up the great work!
