I tried to change the world
But in the end I created chaos
And the only thing I learned is
That there's no one there to save us

I tried to be the heroine
But in the end the heroine dies
So I strive to be a legend
So my legacy survives
I tried to be a role model
For future generations

My own damn frustration

First off, I read your profile and...Wow! You HAVE been through so much! Sorry for your losses in the past. I love the rhyme scheme in this poem also. I mostly do rhyming stuff myself.
