Holding hands in a walk in the park
lips pressed to mine, tongues intermingling
eyes held in rapture, sparkling like wine
tasting the honey of you
sweetness in the love we hold
rivers of tidings of gold
will there come a day we hold each other true
once more there will be a me and a you.
Sleeping in my bed at night
I see you holding me in your arms ever so tightly
watching you sleep in the night
your breathing rising your chest
the peaceful look upon your face
like that of a newborn childs plight
memories of the love we share
never waning through the years
once again I will be in your arms
safe from all worldly harms.
Darling you are my world, my hope
destined to be your eternal bride

hands held throughout the centuries
