Having that knife in your hand
Saying you can’t stand
The pain is too much
You shiver at a touch
Because no one is near
Screaming in fear
Of what inside your black heart
As your world falls all apart
Everything you once knew
Figuring out it was not true
But lift your head up to see
That right next to you is me
And I shall never leave your side
Even if you try to hide
That pain that lives within
Take my hand and let’s begin
A new future and start over
Don’t pull back and have your heart get colder
Relax my friend because it is okay to cry
Take a deep breath at try
To realize there is a better day
Let’s head down this path of a new way
It will be alright with me right hear
Stand still and let me wipe that last tear
Let’s start the journey of the rest of your life
Yes, good job on putting down that knife
