Ahhh, Winter


It’s a bright and sunny day;
everything’s beautifully white

but my face is numb,
with a runny nose

my fingers are frostbitten;
what good are these mittens?

and while my teeth chatter,
my toes are frozen

I manage to stutter,
iiiiii haaaaaaattttteeee  yoooouuuuuu, wiiiiinnnntttteeeerrrrrrr

    LOL! This is great and something that I can surely relate to! I have to admit that I always get sick around this time of the year and for once, I am okay. I hope that it lasts and I wish you a lifetime

    I hate winter too ! but gets rid of germs, is the only good thing, snow is pretty but not good for a persons brittle bones lol, good luck sweety

    Last week it was almost eighty degrees and I was sweating bullets running around doing Christmas shopping. Today the high is 42 and tonight it will drop to freezing...I don't know whether to wear a bathing suit or a snow suit!
    Bundle up, Poet, and stay warm...eventually we'll be sitting on sandy beaches, drinking cold beer, and complaining about the heat Love Lane

    I do indeed stutter an oath but it's slightly stronger than your last line!

    After this last storm this weekend I don't just hate winter, I loathe it. I like that last line, with it's teeth chattering curse.

    My darn middle finger is still a little numb from shoveling snow off the roof last night...either that or from holding it up in a wrathful curse to winter.

      it could be frostbite...get it checked if it wont thaw...you could lose it... i love summer and i curse winter winds yep loath it too
