Evie & Her Frog

 

 

 

Evie had a little frog
The frog croaked every day
And Evie always wondered
What the frog was trying to say.

To freshen up the critter's breath
She fed the frog some mints
And when she gave the frog a kiss
He turned into a Prince.

Evie and the Prince were married
And on that happy day
Evie asked the Prince just what
The frog had tried to say.

"Evie" said the handsome Prince
"I'm going to tell you true:
When the frog croaked it was saying,
'I love you'".

    heart warming and happy

    what a lovely poem full of all the things I wish for my daughter- that she will know Love that transcends all life's imperfections. A frog to one person is a prince to another!. I love this- so magical. Thankyou- Im sure my daughter will treasure this magical write.
