A life rewarded
by circumstance
remembered now
mother's pain and care
given a life to prayer and persistent hope;
she was a stubborn blessing...

What a splendid thought in so few words!
I like it when you go short, you create the most beautiful and meaningful poems using so few lines.
Very well done

This makes me think of my grandmother.

Perfect tribute to a strong woman in twenty five words, present these to her on mother's day and you will get a smile in return.

-
"a stubborn blessing"; now that's a powerful ending.

Twenty-five effective words.

I am so thankful for those "stubborn blessings" I have had one or two folks like that in my life. Youve done a marvelous job showing the speaker's abundance, perhaps until this very moment of remembering, not attributed to mother's pain and care... but the lesson is now learned. So beautifully spoken. I like how you tell both sides of the story here...and so economically. Nicely done.
