Standing at the side of the road
My heart my mind out of control
A man lies dieing before my eyes
Another is is standing at his side
Another is giving cpr as other people
Just pass in there cars
My hands are shaking in disbelief
As the colour drained from the poor
Mans cheeks
I want to help but my feet wont move
I dont believe id be any good
I feel so helpless but my nerves are wrecked
Im tempted to try but im holding back
What if hes already dead my legs just feel
Like a tone of lead
The person whose giving cpr shouts out
For me to lend a hand to feel for a pulse
To check his breath to continue to watch
As he pressed on his chest
Nothing no breath no flicker from his eyes
The man announced i think hes dead
My blood went cold my face went pale
It felt like a dream it wasnt real
But here i was at the dead man side
Hoping he would come alive
He was somebodies father somebodies son
Somebodies husband somebodies love
The ambulance came and checked for a pulse
Then turned there attentions to all of us
Im sorry he said as he took of his gloves
Theres nothing more that could of been done
To witness this scence at the side of the road
I will rember forever till im grey and im old

There us a few spelling and grammar mistakes that you might want to try to fix but otherwise it is an overall good idea. You did a good job of describing the scene but the grammar and spelling were very distracting when I was reading through it. Otherwise good job!

well done!
