What
Is going
to happen
when your
body finally
has enough?
What is going to happen
when one more hit becomes
one last hit? When that craved
high becomes the last thing you
ever feel? What is going to happen
when those bottles of liquor are the
only thing your body knows? When
the precious sense of numbing is all
your mind knows? How are you going
to stop whenever you want then? How
are you going to proceed whenever you
want with your future then? Where will
the motivation come from? Because right
now nothing is seeming too convincing.
The answer to those questions are starting
to become more apparent. You are living
the answers. You’re risking your future-
but much more importantly your life.
Time is running out. Your smile has faded.
Those beautiful eyes tell nothing more
than one big lie. They used to tell a
story. A story of success. Of will
power. A story of my best
friend. But now there is
nothing in those eyes,
nothing in that smile.
Nothing that is real.
Everything I see,
Everything I
hear is
all
fake.
Painted
on by little
pills. Glued
together by the
buzz of your last
drink. Your last high.
Your last pill. You say you
are confident in yourself. You
say you have complete control.
I’m sorry, gorgeous. But truth is your
addiction now has complete control of you.

A very interesting write here!
I just wanted you to know also that I am from Ohio and that I wrote a poem using your online name.
(Toledo)
Look me up and see that poem sometime!

the loss of self and self control, when suffered by one near and dear, often is expressed in raw emotions such as these...
but never have i seen the likes of such an interesting form and so pure thoughts shared so candidly and with the slight tinge of remorse. (of course thats my perception, forgive me if i'm mistaken) but overall i really enjoyed this poem... keep up the good work...
peace,

I first thought this was going to be long and confusing, but I am very glad that I read all of it. You capture intense emotion in your writing, and even though it was long...you were able to keep every line instresting. Well done, keep it up :]]

It looks great honey
Perfectly formed

Very powerful and very beautiful staggering lines. Touching and personal becomes a bit outspoken near the closing, but other than that a fine example of expressive writing. Now is the time to strike the hot iron of creativity and let your feelings pour into the smelting pot of interpersonal expressive literature.
