Dancing swift though the open air,
on rainbows edge's loving prayer,
the lights of night can dazzle eyes
when they sparkle through his dark hair.
All through the early morning skies,
in hues like liquid gold that flies,
his pearly gaze stares off too space
then breaths his shining soft goodbyes.
And though the holes that did erase
with spider thin threads soft as lace,
I watch his body drift away
yet cannot meet his quickening pace.
So with an ease he'll swiftly sway,
and fade into the light of day.
Before my soft and tearing stair,
he's cast into her dark decay.
