the pining soulful yearnings, whenever we’re apart.
The happiness and joy you bring, when ere we chance to meet,
your beautiful engaging smile, just makes my day complete.
Whenever we’re together, locked in love’s embrace,
at your soft warm gentle kisses my pulse just starts to race.
And when you whisper words of love into my eager ear,
I pause a while to kiss away a happiness filled tear.
Evenings when I take you home we linger for a spell,
exchanging precious words of love that we alone can tell.
Many loving kisses later, we just really had to part,
with our precious love locked safely, deep within my heart.

This was cute. The love here is very apparent. The rhyme was flawless and never forced. Kudos. This poem flowed very well and I was pleased to see that it was about love (it's a personal fav ;])

Yes it is very good. I am afraid though I find love poems make me feel sickly and sad.
The first two verses are brilliant. In the last verse I think you should have put we really have to part not really had to part.

I always read the author notes and did it so quickly that I began reading the poem thinking it had to do with hot cross buns ... all good because it forced me to re-read LOL. Nicely done. Romantic and the rhyme was nice.
