He was at it again, as secret Santa but also
A song he’d decided to greet them
Arriving there early having to arrange
Food, presents, drinks such a sparkling range,
The mikes all tuned for the songs to begin
Here they come the guests arriving
In Bustling laughter, and chattering cheer,
Welcomed on stage the duet of the year
Bulging Santa and Faery Queen,
Sang a duet such as never been seen
‘I got you Babe’ opening notes,
this thrilling chase
had just warmed the throat
‘put your little hand in mine’
Audience stunned, swayed in time
But Santa and Faery
Well maybe, just maybe
Mr. Diamond Bright with his Christmas baby
We’ll leave them with their party
Swinging so gaily ~
Santa Claus and his beautiful Queen Faery ~

interesting
it was an okay poem. there wasn't much going on though. it is mostly just a Santa clause doing karaoke with a fairy queen. and you say it is freestyle. but the words in the second half of the poem are rhyming aabb style (don't know what style it is called.) but other then that it was interesting to read -

No the poem itself was not freestyle I was using your notes which said to be freestyle and write about anything in December in the content but as you point out some of the rhyme was aabb .. my interpretation was not to use 'freestyle' but be freestyle in the content, so thought it would be OK to rhyme.. Mr. Diamond is a character I have been working on, just one of his ventures .. Have a very Happy Christmas dear friend Lib x x x glad you found it interesting
