You make me consider things I would never do,
just seeing them on you (emotions, piercings)
makes them fashionable.
Even your self-destruction finds its way in;
you bring back inner conflicts I've already settled,
giving them the mask of meaning once again,
and the tears and pain befitting this splendor.
And it never seems to occur to me
that this obsession isn't healthy.
(you would make even suicide sparkle)

I still know someone like this and yes, it is scary and yet the "good" aspects of them, their freedom is most contagious. Terrific piece.
