Down in Mississippi

I think a lot about you,
Down in Mississippi
Where the wild flowers grow
Here, you do not see embracing fields of green
They are replaced with the hustle of a city
Friendly and inviting, yes
But not so knowing and cherished.

Please tell me what you think

I love the country and had never considered a poem about rural vs. city.

You have opened a door for me.
