Life

Life is like a piano
Its the music you compose, the keys you press
Its the song you sing, its the character you possess
Crescendo your way to the top, until your fortune runs thin
Haggard in prostration, your pitch begins to descend
A clash of keys in a lower octave
Life rocketing downward, a nightmare you live
Eventually your rhythm picks up, your tone more complaisant
The staccato beats, alive...

AHH! Who has taken over my friend Crystal and replaced her with a freakishly talented poet?! Nah, I'm just kidding with you!

But seriously, I LOVE this!! If I didn't know any better, I'd say this was written by an adult, not a teen! Awesome!

    Well, Merry Xmas!
    Cya in school,

This is a GREAT analogy for life. But I would have preferred it be a few lines longer and a bit more specific. But I also know that is just what came out. I get this very same comment from time to time and I just think...That was the poem! That's all!
