Sultry eyes, full red lips
hand tucked beneath a half smile
she invited a conversation about things
of the night;
breezes off the ocean
flickering candles; and music that
had come from Africa with people
we never knew
but who touch us in ways we do not know
and i wondered why
soft brown skin, and dark eyes
made my night so much more beautiful
but i closed my eyes, listened to brushes on a drum
a horn that moaned softly, and strings singing
when barely touched
...and did not ask again.

OH GASP! Such an array soft wanderings. The skin, the eyes, the lips, the night, and especially the music... it just makes this such an appealing experience. There are some moments, gifts really, that are not meant to be analyzed, just enjoyed. I'm glad for the conclusion.
Love this!
