The Pendulum

When you are on the top of the world,

And Everything is going your way.

Just take a moment out to consider,

Luck is a stupid pendulum, hey!

One minute, you are carefree,

Then it ruins everything and you say,

"This Stupid Luck, you know,

It swings either way!!"

Can't blame Luck for everything, but can't help it sometimes can we?

    Haha, that was classic. I love it.

    But, I agree. Just because things are going good now doesn't we they will stay that way. Not saying, you shouldn't enjoy yourself when things are going good, but don't be too surprise when things turn bad.

    This was a cute piece I enjoyed reading it. Yep luck is a pendulum one minute this way but the other second another way and I guess we are lucky only when it's at mean position at extremes it's bad luck. Loved the thoughts they are too unique and beautiful. So what you want is that we don't even enjoy when it's at mean in fear of extremes. Anyways keep on sharing these lovely thoughts and Good Luck lol.

      For me luck is not astrology or stars or fortune cookies, it is the power of sheer chance that sometimes affects us, there are two possible options and it can go either way, one is your way, and the other is not..the pendulum is at the mean position for very short time, and that is the time when we have total control, no dependence on luck, there is no fear of extremes it is just the knowledge that if it is your way now, it is definitely the other way next, that can be scary, only if you think about it.
