Its staring at me
with evil blackened eyes
its begging me
look at its beautiful disguise
turn away
oh man i can smell it
taunting my senses
just one more hit...
oh so beautiful
stuck in a trance
can't walk away
dont stand a chance
dear God its so good
it just melts in your mouth
new years resloution...
its going south
Just one more taste
smooth beauty of brown
so sweet and so sound
no turning you down.

I give up chocolate EVERY year and have yet to keep that resolution. mmmm yummy chocolate!

I like and I have to believe from personal experiances that alot of peoples new years resolutions are based around dieting or getting in shape. I really enjoyed reading this poem. I liked the rhyme and you did a good job of staying away from some of the more cliche couplets. The flow was also well done. Great job and thanks for entering my contest.
