Syllables Fail
Syllables fail
As the was, not was
Of so many possibilities
Confront me
I,
Close my eyes,
See the painted on smile
Of your face-
Tear streaked
You,
The seer of so many possibilities
Of so many yesterdays
And dreams
Touch me
Syllables fail,
When the simple thought of you
Crosses my mind

This is just beautiful... and so true indeed. A great depth of feeling to encompass the very thought - the beauty of all that can be seen, embraced - in the end.
Well spoken!

What an emptional writ you have penned in here. I could feel your pain in the words you wrote. I can really relate to this and especially what you wrote in your AN . I have experience this a lot in my life lately. I' glad to see you writing again and as alwas you are in my prayers and thought, Much love your way, Michele

Beautifully written. I have had times in my life when speech has failed. It would certainly have to be someone quite influential to accomplish that and only you would have the courage to put it on paper.

your poems concerning love are always, & I mean always, so beautiful, tender, and so open ... it's like when I hear my friend sing, she rarely does, it has that same feel of " here is my heart & I'm really showing it " & it is always wonderful.
I really missed your writes and thanks so much.
